The following course curriculum and workshops are offered by HOPE and
presented by Kenneth H. Hamilton, MD. and one or more of his
assistants.*
SoulCircling: the Journey to the Who.
Requirements for acceptance:
1. The desire to serve through open,
compassionate listening;
2. to get to know yourself better;
3. and to find out what you came here to do.
3. Your name, address, phone # and email address to be kept hidden in a password-protected database file on a separate hard drive so that we can keep track of those whom we have certified and re-certified.

(This one-day workshop is a prerequisite to participating in
the "HOPE Guide Training Level 1" workshop below.)
We offer this workshop in response to most any demand for it (depending on availability of time and space).
Cost: $75 per
person.* We include a signed copy of SoulCircling: The Journey to the Who in the cost for this workshop. We would greatly appreciate receiving a $25
non-refundable** deposit in advance in order to determine how
many SoulCircling guides to be available for Saturday.
If you are repeating the workshop, we ask $30 per person.
If you are attending a local workshop, for the Friday evening presentation alone we ask
for a donation of $5. If you feel you would like
to take part in the next day's workshop, and there is room, this
donation will be deducted from the workshop fee.
If you are going on with the HOPE Guide training, we require you
to have read SoulCircling: The Journey to the Who in
preparation for the workshop. We will send you your copy when we
receive your deposit.

1:

3. Personal documents in which we get to know you:
(Because we have your more complete information in a totally separate file, these documents need only be identified with your first name and zip code, and emailed to hopeheal@hopehealing.org to be reviewed in advance of the training by a Senior HOPE Guide. They will be stored with your other information.):
- A HOPE Resume:a one-page description of
those personal resources with which you have met life, the circumstances that life
met you with, the experiences you have created out of the interaction
including your education and work, and your intention for becoming a HOPE group
guide.
This one-day certificate workshop includes:
- The historical background of Dr. Ken Hamilton's work
that resulted in HOPE;
- The basics of attitudinal healing--the power of
attitudes to change our lives;
- Acknowledgment of the restricting nature of attachments
and projections
- Exploring the healing power of love and forgiveness on the one hand and being present and letting go of fear on the other;
- Review of HOPE’s Golden Book that provides the
“crucible” for every HOPE Group meeting, how it does it without becoming a treatment; and how it empowers one to live a life of serenity, courage, and wisdom until the next time we come together;
- A HOPE
group meeting where the guide is a participant, not a therapist;
- A review and discussion of The HOPE Guide's Manual.
With this experience,
participants will be capable of guiding a HOPE Group in their
community, for which they receive HOPE’s ongoing support, particularly with today's Internet VOIP technology and web cams that make face-to-face support possible over virtually any distance.
We offer this 8:00am
to 4:30pm Saturday workshop following fairly closely

We include the following in the cost for this workshop: the required readings* and
three guided imageries (on one CD): Deep Relaxation, Your Inner Guide,
and The Tapestry of Life
Cost: $100 per person.* A non-refundable deposit of $25 reserves your place and
gets you your copies of the HOPE Guide's Manual and The H.O.P.E. Story at considerable saving to you.
(As we ask you to have read the books beforehand, we will send
you your copies on receipt of your deposit.)
HOPE Guide Training Level 2:
Requirement for acceptance:
1. HOPE Guide Level 1 Training
This one-day certificate workshop covers the material outlined in the HOPE iMindMaps.
(Click here to view the Master HOPE Group iMindMap.) It is conducted
as an ongoing HOPE Group meeting. It strengthens the HOPE Guide’s listening
skills and her or his practice of intuition. Each guide will
develop a deeper understanding of and the ability to produce
guided imagery, a powerful healing tool used at the end of many
HOPE group meetings.
We offer this 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Saturday workshop in
response to HOPE Guide requests. Click here for the schedule.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants. We include a CD
with three
guided imageries: Presence and Letting Go of Fear,
Your Universal Self, and To Soar with an Eagle in the cost for
this workshop
Cost: $75 per person* with $25 deposit.**
HOPE Guide Training Level 3:
Requirement for acceptance:
1. HOPE Guide Level 2
Training
This two-day certificate workshop is limited to eight participants who wish to
take the experience of the HOPE Group to its deepest levels.
The major focus of this workshop is to go deeper into guided
imagery. Under the direction of Ken Hamilton, the participants
will take turns guiding the group through the HOPE Group
meeting process. The participants will be able to take HOPErs
into a deeper understanding of the thoughts and feelings coming up
for her or him. Each participant will leave with her or his own
guided imagery tape.
This workshop limited to eight participants. We offer it in response to HOPE Guide
requests from 9:30 to 4:00 on a Saturday and Sunday. Click here for the schedule.
We include six other guided imageries of your choice in
the cost for this workshop.
Cost: $175 per person* with $50 deposit.**
Re-certification:
Every two years, interactively as a one-day conference call with other certified HOPE Guides. Cost: "Value given for value received, according to ability to pay."*
SoulCircling, the Journey to the Who Apprenticeships:
This specialized training is for any SoulCircling workshop participant who would like to continue learning
about the process with the goal of becoming a SoulCircling facilitator. By attending further SoulCircling workshops as a small
group guide, apprentices are given the opportunity to practice the
skills of and assist new participants in SoulCircling workshops. The training committee reviews and evaluates
each apprentice for their expertise in the process and certifies
them when they have achieved the experience needed to be a
facilitator.
Requirement:
- Prior participation in a SoulCircling workshop
- Read and familiar with
SoulCircling: the Journey to the Who.
Cost: $30 per person* per session.**
